NHKのドキュメンタリーを見た。あまりにも悲しい内容のドキュメンタリーだった。悲しむことしかできないが、悲しさのドローイングをしようと思い立ちました。
これは7枚目のドローイングで、自宅にドブネズミが出て、駆除しようとセメントを流し込んだら、下水道がつまってしまって、下水道修理業者を呼んだら詐欺られて、高額だまし取られた、というバカみたいな、祟りみたいな、悲しい話。

I watched an NHK documentary. It was almost unbearably sad. There was nothing I could do but feel sad, so I decided to make drawings of sadness.
This is the seventh drawing. It is based on a stupid, cursed, sad story: a sewer rat appeared in my house, and when I poured cement into the hole to get rid of it, the sewer clogged. I called a sewer repair company, got scammed, and was cheated out of a large sum of money.
