NONAKA-HILL ♥ TATAMI ANTIQUES: A holiday sale of unique objects from Japan

Rodney and Taka Nonaka-Hill are pleased to introduce our esteemed and longtime friend, Dai Okumura from Tatami Antiques of Japan. Tatami is an online marketplace offering diverse “Contemporary Antiques” selected by member dealers who each have a keen eye for object quality.  We’re always eager to see the next @tatami_antiques Instagram post; their objects are always peculiar, the photographs are enticing, the texts are generous, the prices are reasonable, and transactions are seamless; as Dai Okumura assists the Japanese-speaking member dealers with English translation. Over the years, we’ve found some amazing, irresistible objects for our home which we cherish, so we invited Okumura-san to Los Angeles and brought some objects from member dealers to be offered at our 6917 Melrose location.  

Select objects by Nonaka-Hill gallery artists and assorted novelties will be offered, also.

Join us on Saturday, December 2 from 1pm to 7pm for the debut day.  Refreshments will be served. The sale will continue through December 23rd, 2023
